Black Licorice and Vanilla Smoothie

Think of this smoothie as a sweet and creamy milkshake with flavors of licorice, orange and vanilla. This smoothie blends the spicey and the sweet together for a tasty combination. This is a low calorie delight that is light, but filling. Eat as a breakfast, or anytime snack.

1 1/2 bananas
1 pink lady apple
2 cups vanilla almond milk
1 tsp Penzey's Orange Peel California Spice
1 tsp Anise Seed
1 tsp fennel
1 sprinkle of mace

Pour the almond milk into your blender.
Peel, core and slice the apple. Discard the core and stem.
Add the bananas, apple, and spices to the blender.
Blend the ingredients until smooth, then pour into your favorite glass and enjoy!
