Mango Island Smoothie

The Mango is widely known for it's close association with smoothie drinks. The reason might be that the fruit imparts such a thick rich texture to almost any combination of ingredients. The carrot in this recipe pares very well with the mango and adds more vitamins to the mixture. This is really a smoothie that drinks like a meal.

Mango Smoothie


1 mango peeled and sliced
1 banana peeled and sliced
1 cup coconut/almond milk
1/2 cup water
1 carrot, peeled and cut
1 small segment of ginger peeled and sliced

Peel and slice the mango and banana.
Add the Almond Breeze coconut almond milk and water to your blender.
Add the mango slices, banana, carrot and ginger to the mix.
Blending mango may take longer to acquire the desired texture(try 1-2 minutes).
Pour into a mug, glass, or tumbler and enjoy!
